What the hack is that?

On 23 June 2016, the British people went to a referendum to decide to leave the European Union. The result surprised the whole world. 52% of the vote was decided to leave. However, according to polls, 55% of votes was expected as a no decision. The separation process started on March 29, 2017. A month later, the European Union and Britain met for the first time to discuss the process. Many issues that had to be solved for separation. The first draft presented in November 2018.

Trust the (Process)?

In this process, Theresa May must first prepare a draft for separation and submit it to the approval of Brussels. Then she must pass this draft through his own parliament. Which seems too difficult for this moment. The agreement also needs to be approved by the European Parliament. In the case of parliaments' approval, the agreement will be submitted to the approval of the other 27 EU members. If all approvals are received, the EU must approve the agreement at the European Union Summit on 20 January 2019. Britain will officially leave the European Union on 29 March 2019 if this is taken into account. But by rules, the UK will be subject to EU laws and customs union between 21 months and 3 years.

After months of negotiations with the Brexit process, the parties agreed on a draft text last week. Theresa May is now required to approve this draft in his parliament. So what's in this draft?

- EU citizens in the UK and British citizens in the EU will continue to have the right to work or study in the country. Their families will be able to join them.

- The UK will pay the EU a "divorce fee" of £ 39 billion, which is called a "fair financial deal".

- The United Kingdom will temporarily remain in the common market and customs union in order to avoid sudden shock.

- Until the process is completed, the United Kingdom will comply with EU rules, cannot vote and will continue to pay membership fees.

Missing Bride ?

If everything goes as planned, a trade agreement will be signed in this process. However, the agreement is not included in the draft. Another 5-page political statement is not included in a 585-page draft agreement. This statement prepared by officials from both sides is a broad and non-binding text describing how the UK-EU relations will be after the Brexit. A new trade agreement is not expected to be signed before December 2020.

Can Proper Whiskey help his lil bro (Northern Ireland) ???

The island of Ireland is divided between Northern Ireland, which is part of the United Kingdom, and the Republic of Ireland, part of the European Union. There is a big problem between the two sides. The UK and the Republic of Ireland say they do not want a border where vehicle inspections are made and where border officers stand. The draft draft stipulates an emergency mechanism called a "backstop" in order to avoid a physical border. According to this mechanism, it will be guaranteed that there will be no physical boundaries on the island, regardless of how the free trade agreements between the European Union and the UK will end in the future. This means that Northern Ireland will continue to abide by EU rules on certain issues, such as food production and product standards. But critics point out that this method can have two consequences: either the UK cannot control all of its customs, or Northern Ireland will de facto become part of the Republic of Ireland. Moreover, this arrangement, which includes some special arrangements in Northern Ireland, could also trigger Scotland's demand for independence.

Houston, we have a problem

Following the Brexit agreement between the UK and the EU, the Minister of Northern Ireland Vara from the Theresa May government resigned, stating that the text was far from fulfilling the demands of the voters. Shortly after the Brexit Ministry in July brought Dominic Raab, Minister of Labor and Retirement Esther Mcvey, Brexit Deputy Minister Suella Braverman and parliamentary secretary Ranil Jayawardena announced their resignation. "The deal you presented yesterday to the cabinet does not honor the outcome of the referendum," Mcvey said, reacting to May.
